Tickets include a 'Tour by the Glass'. Doors open at 600p and the workshop begins at 630p. So come early, have a beer and get ready to learn all about pricing!

About this workshop: 

COGS, ROI, and spreadsheets oh my! Whether you need a strategy refresher as your business scales or you’re just dipping your toes in the artisan world, Pricing Basics will set you up for success with an easy-to-follow approach designed to keep you organized, on track, and getting back to what you do best… making! 

In this introductory session, we will cover basic strategies for pricing artisan goods, a few pro tools to keep you organized (you’ll need to get comfortable with spreadsheets and just a LITTLE math), and some philosophy on on how to define and position your products in the maker market.

Prerequisites & Preparation:
Something to take notes and questions pertaining to your business.

About this workshop: 

Cover the basics of preparing your business for wholesale and landing your first wholesale account: 

- Pricing your products for wholesale
- Defining a catalog versus a linesheet
- Wholesale lingo you should know
- Sales strategies when approaching wholesale buyers including how to create a pitch
- Understanding how to create a linesheet

You will be given a packet full of sample linesheets and catalogs to reference when developing  your own materials.

About Caitlin Abshier:

Caitlin Abshier is a graduate from Kennesaw State University where she studied entrepreneurship and business management. During college, Caitlin sold her soaps and other crafts at local markets, creating a demand for her locally made + natural products. After her graduation in 2014, she gave herself one year of hustle for Revive to see if she could create a sustainable business. After one year, she hired her first employee and launched a second line of products called Luxe Apothecary. Revive Bath + Body and Luxe Apothecary products are now sold in over 1000+ store locations, including Hobby Lobby, Express, and West Elm. Caitlin brings years of experience in wholesale, branding, business startups, and sales with a focus in consumer products.
